Locking nuts.

Son in law has lost the locking nut for his wheels, any easy solution to remove the wheels please?

So many drivers do this that tyre depots have the correct tools to remove the locking nuts.

It means a new pack of nuts to buy.

Do you know how much it would cost Toureman please?
Contact these people – they will advise of a garage/tyre specialist near you who has such a piece of kit.

They will normally charge around £25 to remove the 4 locking nuts – a lot cheaper than a motorway call out for a flat that cannot be changed.

Thank you for your answers, he is now driving very slowly to his place of work, he took one of the wheels off last night to look at something and think he may have left the nut on when he put the wheel back on.

Thank you excel, been on and off today, between cleaning kitchen cupboards and walls.

She means he may have left the locking nut on when he drove away not the wheel nut, easy mistake to made!
