I think they're overpriced and overengineered, but it's just an opinion!

They are overpriced for what you get in terms of standard euipment - you pay for the badge. I think they still suffer a bit from the 80's yuppee image.

I admire BMW as a company. In this day and age of the massive car corporations (GM, Toyota, Ford, etc), they are actually a bit of a minnow. But still they keep topping the sales charts in their key sectors. And they do make damn good cars. I also hated them for taking two british icons (Mini and Rolls Royce). I still hate them for what they have done with the Mini; its a great car but it is not the spritual successor to the original. Conversely, I love the new Rolls Royce and I take my hat off to BMW for getting it so spot on. Look at the Maybach for an example of how easy it is to balls-up such a car. So, in summary I admire the company. But I still hate the drivers!

How does a one word answer get three stars and my one gets one star?? Siorom (hi again!), I agree that the motorcycles have suddenly got really good in the last year or two. They were always impressive machines but I was never tempted until recently.
