I know this is very sad but does anyone know of a web site that you can hear sounds of motor racing cars?!

If you go on msn groups and join Foxy's F1 site there are a few sound files to download on there. You can also download sound files from WinWX and similar p2p file shareing programs. If yo want some sound and video files, try www.carolinamuscle.com .. some great American muscle cars doing burn outs, etc.
