Monday, Lets Lighten It Up A Bit, Petrol Head Status...
Ok we all know the rules, to be a proper petrol head, you have to have, at some time, owned and Alfa. 3 questions a) Are you a petrol head? if so, b) what Alfa did you have and c) do you think deisel Alfa's should count?

He's carved out a very nice career (in the same way Al Murray has with his Pub Landlord character) by skewing logic for his own ends. I believe it was JC (spooky coincidence?) who made the 'You cant be a petrol head unless you've owned and Alfs' rule. Although it could have been Hamster.

Alfa's are one of those cars that you own once! I had a Sud, mechanically it was pretty good but basically it just rusted out! I sold it in the end to some bloke who wanted the engine for his kit car, the engine was excellent. I don't think I'd have an Alfa again as I couldn't put up with it's "character" but I'm glad I did my PH apprentiship and owned one once.
