engine fans constantly running on my freelander xei

When I turn my engine on the fans start up immediateley and run constantly whilst driving. They only go off a few seconds after stopping the engine. All the fuses are fine, anyone help?

Sounds like your temp sensor is knackered normally they are loccated near the waterpump/ thermostat or rad.

They are only cheap get a manual and locate on engine should only take 10 mins. a 20 pound project.

What do you mean 'fans', is there more than one?
Your AC could be on.  Simple but true.  My Mitsubishi had 2 fans.  One on the left of the radiator and one on the right.
