Its a refresher driving course sponsored by the AA Charitable Trust for the environment and road safety.

We watched the program with Edwina Curry Dangerous Drivers Chanel 5 end of February.

It featured an elderly gent who's wife was concerned with his standard of driving. I discovered there above course via the AA web site who are sponsors for the program. My husband was keen to do the course which was so easy to apply for online.
He had a phone call a few days later to arrange it.

My husband is 80 did this last week after me nagging him I was getting nervous about him still driving. I've always been a bad passenger!!

He was out for 2 hours in a driving school car with no charge what so ever.

He got a good virbal report and enjoyed being observed by a professional.

I thought it worth mentioning here as others may want to look into it too.

Its not just for older drivers either.

I wish other drivers were as willing to do the same.

My Father hit five stationary cars and was not to blame.....as far as he was concerned!
