Really surprised at the quality of vehicles they got for such a small budget. I'm in the market myself for a big estate right now and rather like the 528 that Jezza got. Who else in AB's vast membership has one from this era? Does it break very often and if so are the bills for fixing it extortionate or can I fix it myself with a lumphammer?

The 5 series is generally a very good solid car. This version, the E39, is as good as any.
