I recently had an oil leak in my vectra, a hose had a hole in it and sprayed oil over the Engine, what would be the best way to clean off the oil without affecting the electrics, is it advisable to jet wash it with the Engine ticking over? Thanks :-)

High pressure steam clean is the best.
Take care with pressure washers in the engine bay as it may end up costing you.
Try something like Gunk or Jizer. You brush it on a warm engine and leave for 10 mins....then hose it off with low pressure water or a watering can.
Do not jet wash it!

Could cost a fortune to get it running again, even low pressure water can disable it.
Do as BJ says but be carefull.

Try to cover electrical parts.
