engine swapping

hey,

big question for all those big car people out there i woz wondering if ne one can help me, a friend and i are doing a project and were wondering how well does a 1.7 puma engine fit into a ka 1.3? ne info at all would be helpful, thanks

not 100% certain but i believe the Puma uses a Zetec engine and the KA a duratec engine.... i THINK that the inlet/outlet manifolds are reversed in these engines and would cause a huge headache.

i also seem to recall the duratec is a far smaller lump then the zetec so you would (if it could be fitted) be looking at custom made engine mounts etc.

however i am happy to be proved wrong in this instance :)
