Hi all,I hope someone can help,we have a 1999 ford galaxy where the central locking has stopped working,it's not one with a remote,we turn the key and nothing happens.the drivers side passenger door will not unlock but the others we can open by moving the internal leaver.i can't hear the door motors working so am assuming the relay is dead.i looked on the Internet and people talk about a unit under one of the front seats getting wet but I had a look and there is no such unit under our front seats, any ideas and pointers would be greatly appreciated .many thanks......Neil

If the mechanism on the passenger door has jammed it may have caused a fuse to blow. A possibility since there's no action from any of the doors.
Take off the door card, by doing that you can get at the release mechanism.

Well I had a look, the fuse is fine,so I took the trim off the door to get at the lock, but couldn't get it to release. But whilst refitting the trim the lock made a noise .It now works manualy, result, but haven't a clue about the central locking .thanks for your input though, best regards......Neil
When the door is open Neil, look in the direction of the door hinges, undo the electric plug & spray WD40 Into the connectors.
