Just a last point Vod, check your car fully before you hand it back???? Marks / dents / Interior, they are very good at saying this is dented / that is dented, make a note & make sure they know this.
yeah the official Beamer dealers do take the proverbial don't they. There's an outfit near me run by an ex BMW workshop manager, I take mine there and they are usualy less than half for everything.
TWR, when you fit the shocks do you 'exercise' them fully 3 times before fitting. This ensurse all the seals are lubricated, i know it seems a bit old skool but it is what i have been taught.

Hi Winstan, Yes that has been done, I noticed that the OFF/S wheel arch height is Centimeters lower than the N/S, although the car is 12years old, its in (A1) Condition, I have this morning contacted the previous owner + BMW to see if this car has had a OFF/S Prang, nothing, regards the Height, it's normal for this model, it's the fault of the Shocks, I should have foreseen this, the car is not a standard version but a coupe "Heavier" I will now contact the parts Distributors.
