Vauxhall Corsa Will Not Start After Short Journey....

I have a P reg Vauxhall Corsa automatic. Only problem with is that after starting fine first time if I stop after a short journey (normally to get petrol) it will not start, it doesn't even turn over. No warning lights are on. The lights on the dashboard come on as I turn the key in the ignition but nothing happens.

I have had no luck with cars recently and the last thing I need at the moment is the cost of putting it in a garage. If anyone has had this or something like it I would appreciate any advice.

Thanks

There is actually a Vauxhall Members Club on the web. I'm sure that if you Google it and establish a link then you will find specific models, etc. and lots of people with similar probs. (or have experienced similar probs). Sorry I cant be more help.Good luck

It does start eventually...I sit there turning the key over and over again usually for about ten minutes and suddenly it will start up...really rather frustrating and slightly painful to the wrist :)

I've just remembered the site that I used, when I had a problem with my Zafira:
www.vauxhallownersnetwork.co.uk -
you should find lots of information and help there.
Must have had a 'senior moment'!
