Absolutely no oncoming traffic but just as I pulled back in again I saw the copper hiding in the stinging nettles with his hairdryer. The look on his face was like his birthday and Christmas coming together and he jumped in the squad car like a rat up a drainpipe.
Six or seven k down the road when he caught me up he wasn't in a very good mood and told me I would be getting a ticket in the post for doing 139km/h in an 80 zone. One k extra he said and it would be a court case for dangerous driving. But I got nothing through the post, they must have lost this internally.

Last week - when a Woman indicated Left & turned right when I was passing alongside on the motorbike pictured, 30MPH I may add.
3 days in Hospital, lost top of index finger, multiple bruises, Bike written off,
most of the protective equipment written off, my camera is also dead,
apart from that I don't think twice about it.

No Sigma, just a black Opel Vectra 2.0 DTI. The coppers there can't find their arse with both hands. Got a letter a few weeks after that offence with the crest on the envelope but it was for an offence detected by a mobile camera and the car in the picture was a Ford Focus. The registration plate was clear, you could see it wasn't mine but the cheap & nasty text recognition software clearly couldn't read. That is the sort of slapdash, British-Leyland-esque "it'll do" mentality that was the likely reason I got off scott free for driving like my hair was on fire.
