#1 daughter has decided to decorate her room with blue crayon.
It's all over the window, her bed frame, the wall and the side of the wardrobe.
She was dispatched to the naughty step, where she then decided to wander into the bathroom (near the naughty step) and flushed an entire pack of (flushable - thankfully) wipes down the loo.
God, give me patience cos if you give me strength I'll throttle her.
(Only an expression - nobody needs to call social services.)
When my lad was tiny he spent a summer's day posting wax crayons into the skirting board type radiator.
We didn't know until the autumn when the heating was turned on and the wax all dripped out onto the carpet.
The insurance loss adjustor agreed we were covered, and we got a significant contribution to the new carpet. (Coincidentally we had already decided to change the carpet before this happened)
ahh, bless. When she is older and wants her room redecorated and looking more grown-up and sophisticated, give her a few crayons and tell her to get in with it!
Go with rons idea, I have a photo of the devil daughter just born with swollen bits, I must say I do like kids when they start to experement, I can recall an episode with sudo creme, telly and sofa and walls, in a space of 5 mins, could have killed her, sudo like crayons are a nightmare to get out
I love my cousin Mo to bits even when she bought my son a little carpentry set.
Hearing banging from his bedroom I went to investigate, not quickly enough though.....he had nailed every shoe, slipper and plimsoll that he owned to the wall....through the soles.....x
Now my son (23yo) has his own home I'm tempted to repay him for the (age 3) "Look Mam I've coloured in all the flowers on your settee"............ oh he was soooo proud of his work, he had even stayed in the lines LOL
lol at all your answers! I love the image of gness' son making a shoe collage!
I'm getting the feeling that this won't be the last time she does something like this!
The worst of it is that I confiscated her crayons at the weekend for drawing on the wall in the hall! She must have stashed the blue one somewhere for a few days.
I've managed to get it off the wardrobe, but it's not budging from the bed frame or wall - and I had painted the walls with washable paint!
When my girl was only a tot I was at a friends house changing her nappy and had one of those tiny pots of sudocream. She liked to play with it and you know how handy it is to give them something to do while you are busy with thier bottoms.
My friend and I were chatting and within seconds my darling girl had got the lid off and smeared the whole pot full all over herself and my friend's carpet.
