You need a trustworthy Insurance Comp with 24hr call, a Good cover at a competitive price, that will give you what you want with no underhanded tricks, that has Courtesy car / L.P.C.
All insurance companies are crooks - some are just more polite about ripping you off than others ...

... therefore the only discriminator is price - at least you are being ripped off as cheaply as possible.
I'm with E-sure. I have all the above in the Ed's Q and it costs an arm and a leg. When Mic stopped driving it didn't go down by 1 penny. Yet when I needed better cover for being on my own the cost hit the roof.
Price, for me insurance is an excercise in being legal. I have never claimed. Obviously if total disaster happens then I'd have to claim but generally by claiming you merely induce the insurance market to get their money back in premiums. NCBP does not do what most think it does.
Can't work out the logic of anything other than price.
Come to make a claim doctordb and you will. Pay peanuts you get monkeys.
That's the risk spikey. In over twenty years I haven't made a claim and my payments keep going down. :)
The fact that something which is a legal requirement is *bargainable* is ludicrous IMO - that's why I put price as the top priority.
I nearly put price, but then thought if i got an extremely low quote from a company I'd never heard of, I'd actually be quite suspicious, so changed my mind to trustworthy brand- although both are deciding factors to me.
