Deciding?
When you decide its time to purchase a New / 2nd hand car, what things do you look for & debate over?
Is it a joint Decision?
Do you use the Garage Finace & warrantee?

How many hounds can we get in it.
When all the seats are folded flat are there any gaps in the floor where the hounds could trap their legs.
Do the side windows roll down or just clip out 2 inches, The hounds like a load of fresh air when in the car.
Is the back of the car hight enough to give the hounds head room.
is it a high jump for the hounds to get in and out, they can easily hurt their backs jumping into high vehicles.
Just the same sort of things we all consider I suppose.

We pull a touring caravan and last time we changed, from a 2.5lt Automatic Vauhall Omega, we wanted: Automatic, RWD and diesel, for economy.
After much searching and trial runs we only manages one out of the three, diesel, manual and FWD Skoda Superb.
The car now has 150,000 miles on it (100,000mls are ours) and without doubt this is the best car I have ever owned.
50+ mpg solo and 30+ mpg towing. As much torque as you can need without lighting the tyres up in every gear.
We'll be checking out the new Superb when it's time to change.

I wouldn't use garage finance. One of our main questions is will it be comfortable for dog? (not quite as many criteria as Ratter) we don't mind if petrol or diesel - type of car - mileage - automatic - preferably Ford or VW Definite joint decision..... we are actually looking for a second hand car at present, and would like to find one that is able to qualify for the cheaper road tax.
