what causes a sterter to drag an not start your car? I thank it burned my battery up.

could be either the battery voltage was'nt high enough which caused the starter to stick in, or the starter was faulty and the current drain flattened the battery.

sometimes a battery will not take a re-charge if it is too flat, needs some voltage in there to start the process off.
