I hit a car that was parked on a yellow line on a narrow road. What l want to know is it me to blame or the other driver on the yellow line?

Unfortunately you are, although there may be mitigating circumstances, was it camouflaged, did it appear while you weren't looking, that sort of thing.

IT is always the fault of the driver, a stationary car cannot be to blame for being hit

yes but wont the other person be partly to blame? because had they not been parked on the yellow line (illegally i presume) then tafara would not have hit them. do they not get something done to them because of how they were parked?

They may have been in the way but a stationary object can't be partly to blame for being hit.

A car may be legally stopped on yellow lines to load/unload or pickup/set down passengers.  Whilst it may not be illegally parked on yellow lines it may be parked dangerously, eg. on a bend or brow of a hill which is an RTA offence.  You may have a claim....
