It was the 2.9 Tony, hideous old man's car. It finally got dumped when the bonnet flew up onto the windscreen when I was doing about 70.

Prudie, my fiat only had one windscreen wiper (was designed that way) it flew off in a torrential downpour while i was going down a very steep hill. I ended up having to drive faster so the rain ran off the screen and i could see! (i was 17).

That happened to me also, prudie, in a 3.0 Capri, wasn't doing 70 though. Very very scary !.

Pixie I've had wipers fail in a downpour, it's terrifying because you can't even see if it's safe to pull over. I have visions of you flying down that hill like Penelope Pitstop :-)

@ Tony yes an auto, about the only time it was OKish was Mway driving, apart from that it was so ugly, had loads of faults and didn't fit with my image LOL

A few realy, I have bought and sold with honesty, never conned anyone, always solved any problems but only one or two, the car I now have is of German make, I intend to keep & I think it will be the last car I ever own.
