Driving License Query

Hello can any body offer any advice we need a new key, the type were you press the key fob and point it towards the car. Over the phone the gentleman said we need to take the V5 document and a copy of the driving license but I failed to ask him what part of the license we need the wife can only find the pink part and not the paper part do we need both or will the pink part be enough?

who told you this? when I needed a new key, I just took the log book to the garage to prove that I owned the car. Couldn't you use a passport as a form of ID instead?

I suspect the pink part is all you will need for identification purposes ie, to prove that it is the owner of the car that is buying the key fob.

Surely you don't have to send your licence away if you get a speeding fine? I don't understand your question.

What do they put the "points" on boxtops if not on the license ?
