I have a 2006 1.5 Nissan Note diesel with 55,0000 miles on the clock. The garage have advised two new injectors, is this normal for such a low mileage? If this is not normal then how do I challange Nissan now that its out of warrenty?

I think that the OP added an extra '0' in the mileage by mistake (50k not 500k).

What problems does the car have? is it misfireing ?
I would take it to another garage preferably an independent one and ask them what the problem is , as the car is out of warranty there is no need to stick with a Nissan main dealer. Try an independent diesel engine specialist it will be cheaper as well.
If the car's NOT BLACK SMOKING, no, check the rear of the Exhaust pipe! is it sooty? bye a tin of "WYNNS" Additive to clean the Injectors £5.00 then top up your fuel, give the car a blast, then every month or so, put another tin in the tank.
if it is a common-rail engine which I suspect it will be, being a 2006 model, any injector fault is far more likely to be in the wiring than with the injector itself. Find a good auto electrician to thoroughly test your wiring loom, I found a £12 fix on the internet to dickie up the fault in the circuit concerned when the main dealer was looking for over €1000 to replace the entire loom.
