It will be pretty subjective tho TWR. One person may have had problems with a particular make whereas many others may not, so I don't think you can draw any conclusions.
As subjective as it is some owners may hate/love their car for a reason that a proffesional may not look at, ie a parentless reviewer wont look at things that a mum for example would, and therefore the mum's 'review' is more relivent to you.
I have a Ford Fusion, bought new in 2011, and I am very pleased with it. Engaging reverse is a bit tricky, but perhaps that is typical of Fords. The seating position is rather high off the ground, and that suits my old joints. I am looking for a replacement, but Ford don't make the Fusion any more, which is a pity.
Evening, TWR....I have now had two Honda Civics from new.....the first was an absolute lemon.....named Damien...I changed it quickly for another the same as I couldn't have bad luck twice.
This one....named Gabriel....is a dream......and apart from being the perfect car is the most comfortable for the long drives I do....love it.
