Motorcycle Forks
Hi there,
I'm a motorcyclist and there is something that is bothering me. My front forks are chipped and look terrible. I have done a little research and I discovered that it is only the clear coat that is damaged and not the actual metal. I've seen this lotion called 'cycle care formula m' which is from America. It is quite expensive then there is shipping....
Does any fellow biker know a cheaper alternative that is just as affective? I know the saying "you get what you pay for" but there must be something in this country equally as good.
Many thanks! Media URL: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xuw-avYzYzw

Hi there fellow biker: I live in Cape Town and suffer the same maladies re: clear coat chipping. It's something we have to live with here living by the coast I'm afraid – well that and the thieving of one's machine if you not careful! OK, there's a product called ACF-50, try and see if it's available in the UK, this stuff works a treat, but it's pricey, R250 a tin...

OK, there's a product called ACF-50, try and see if it's available in the UK, this stuff works a treat, but it's pricey, R250 a tin (about 14 squid), the Canadians make the stuff, so it could well be sold your side ... Good luck!
