Hi, Im 15 - 16 in december and was hoping to get a moped as a birthday and christmas present. When can i apply for my provisional liscence and is there anything else i need to do or get before i ride on the road. Also any recomendations on good, reasonably prices scooters with free/cheap insurance deals at the moment? Thanks

Don't want to put you off but why not wait til around Easter before you venture out on the roads?  The winter frosts will have gone and it will be a lot less hazardous for anyone on two wheels.  Keep safe.
