i am thinking of removing the door trim on the outside of the car, then filling this in and then getting it sprayed, therefore creating smooted doors and a better look. does anybody know how hard this is? and how i go aboutactally filling in the hole? do i just basically bung it up with filler and make the top look neat? im really not sure how to do it! any advice would be helpful thank you!!!!!

try removing one first to see how they are attached, if you are lucky they may just be bonded in which case you wont need to fill and spray !.

if they are riveted or screwed though, you will have to put something solid behind the hole (from inside your door panel) halfords sell a fibre glass resin filling kit for this, and then fill and sand the outside and respray.

If it is metallic paint i wouldnt bother as you will not match it with an aerosol, as you could with a solid colour.
