I have a 1998 S reg vauxhall astra, and the alarm keeps going off when the car is locked, this happens day and night!

Does anyone know how to solve this without paying high garage prices - is there a way to stop it, i tried disconnecting the main battery but thought that would be fruitless as its the first thing that a thief would do, and i was right as the alarm kept going off, so justwondering if theres anything else i can do to stop the alarm going off, even permanently

thanks

Your sensors are probably set too sensitive. Go to a small independent radio/alarm shop or maybe even Halfords and as long as there is no bodywork to rip off should be reset for about a tenner.
