Steering Gone Today

Fiat uno about 13 year old, what price for spare and repair ? Some newish parts. Been offered £100

I have Re-Read your reply, the steering has a leak, that ould just be the Pipe Connections to be tightened without looking "20mins", I do not think for one minute that the steering is U/S, I can see a motive here Tamaris, & that's in favour of the Rescue Driver, you have to make this choice, If the car is a good one, you own it, or do you spend money for an other that could be expensive to you & money you could do without spending.

Steering has no leak, there is a leak but it is another matter, you can see it on the front of the engine, I knew about it but it was to be fixed.
He was ringing back to base for the quotes on my car.
It has been a good car to me, but I have started to spend too much on it now, I have to get another one.

If it is drivable then you can get at least £200 by selling it as spares or repair on ebay or just with a local advert. If it has an MOT and tax even for a few weeks it is worth at least £300 . Remember though that from the 1st November you can not sell a car and transfer the tax to the new owner, the new owner has to re-tax it themselves.

Don't spend money on a 13 year old Fiat.
Scrap it and get as much as you can.

t is taxed long MOT'd serviced, tip top in fact apart from this problem, I have spent a lot of money on it

Many thanks for your input, I think alot of you have misunderstood the question, I do not want to fix it and spend any more money on it.
