bodge repairs

I have just got my Grand Cherokee Jeep back from having a new cat fitted and they have done the most bodged job I have seen, instead of welding the parts on they have used gum gum and sprayed it silver, also, in the process bent the back box pipe so every time I go over a speed bump it is scraping it. Where do I stand seen as I only bought the car (on finance,sting!)11 months ago and it was the traders garage that done repair........

Take it back to who did the repairs and tell them you're not satisfied and want the job put right at THEIR cost. If they try to fob you off tell them u will go to see office of fair trading or pass the word around that they do bodge jobs
