Mini One is nice!

How much you can expect to pay will depend on a number of thing - the age of the vehicle, mileage, condition etc

Insurance again will depend on loads of things - where you live, annual mileage, your age/sex, number of years no claims, where the car is kept overnight etc etc

Is that a BMC Mini or a BMW Mini ? If the former, then not a lot, but there is some rubbish about. If a BMW one then have a look at an alternative : Skoda Fabia vRs. More space (5-door hatch), more pace - lots in mid range, better economy, rarer, a hoot to drive and new for circa 12300 otr. Before we get into the "Oh God not a Skoda" debate, go have a look. I've been driving one for a year now and it is brilliant. Nearly 20k miles on the clock, nothing gone wrong and it runs circa 50mpg, (it's a diesel, of course - the VW/AUDI 1.9 TDi PD engine @ 130bhp). Only point I would make is that Skoda claon 0-62 of 9.6sec. When run-in it's nearer 7.6sec, (as Autocar lomg term test showed). But, the real eye opener is in mid range. Whatever you end up with, I hope you get a good 'un.
Get a rough idea of insurance by filling in an online form, eg, tesco, admiral, churchill etc etc.

Online price guides include, What Car? and Parkers, and Auto Trader, and any others I've failed to mention.
