My daughter took her dog for a walk over the weekend. She parked the car in a National trust car park. On returning she found the car had had its wing mirrors ripped off & all the door panels kicked in. Why do people do this?

Who knows? A warped sense of humour? Simply because they can? I suspect that if you caught the culprit and asked for an explanation, they wouldn't be able to give you one. Another reason: they know that there's not much chance of getting caught. I hope that your daughter is getting over the upset.

I'd like to know why the malicious dregs of society that hit my car a number of times with a stick and which I only noticed Saturday, did that too. I have no idea where and when it was done.

I wasted time wondering who I could possibly have offended, and then my sister probably came up with the answer. she reckons they were probably just jealous.

Well that and having such a warped mind they got entertainment out of damaging another's property. There are some very sick folk out there.

I was in an RSPB site on Saturday and the car next to mine had its windows broken and some things stolen. This had to have been a deliberate visit by the offenders as the reserve is a long way down multiple single track roads. As bookbinder says, little chance of being caught
