My parents, both in their (very active) 70's spent xmas at my sisters in Durham. They were due to travel home tomorrow (sunday) to Brighton but i got a text from them saying they're coming back today (Saturday) because of the bad weather.

This would mean travelling down on the A1/M11.

Does anyone know what the weather/road conditions will be like in areas of East Anglia or the north ?

Many thanks

sorry, no idea, but enter some details here

I live very adjacent to the M11 and at the moment it's cloudy and grey and wet underfoot. Temperature is above freezing so motoring should be OK.
I live very close to the A1 in Cambridgeshire (a bit further North than Malana). It is cold, wet and miserable but it isnt snowing and it isnt freezing.
