Depends on your relationship with the garage, if you use them often, I think you will be ok.
You do know that you can use any VAT Reg garage for a service Mat? unless it is stated otherwise.

Thanks TWR. I was talking about the manufacturer warranty if that makes a difference. Not sure of auto legalities.....
I think it depends where you are in the five years......if you have a problem soon after the late service it could affect any claim. They will wriggle out of a claim if they can.I had to have a 'break in' service 1200 miles from delivery and was warned that if I went over by 100 miles or more, any engine/transmission failure claim will be void.

The car is way below average (12k per annum?) mileage eg 14k total three year old.
Don't know if a comparison between such service here in the U.S. and yours in the U.K., but we have a 2013 Toyota Highlander and we've been as much as 500 miles beyond recommended service and the Toyota dealership was more than affable and just encouraged us to be timely if we could. Thing is, the most important item is the oil change, but with the agent of synthetic oils the time between service for that item is 7500 miles or 6 months so it doesn't roll around very often… That being said, I haven't had any issues that required resolution, meaning that if something did need repaired under warranty they could be a different animal to deal with… hasn't happened yet.

BTW, this is probably the most dependable and squak free auto we've ever owned...
They'll be fine Matheous, they can't afford to lose a good customer like you.
That was meant to say "… with the advent ofsynthetic oils…"
