I didn't know what you meant by "micro car"....then I realised you are talking about "Microcar". I don't have any experience of them....and wouldn't want one. There is a very limited dealer network (nearest to me is 45 miles), they need more frequent servicing than is now usual and the warranty is not generous (25,000 miles for the engine!). And IMO, they look dreadful.
If I wanted a compact (but real and highly respected) car...I'd buy a VW Up!, or it's twin sister Skoda Citigo.
Micro Car / Micro Parts, I do not think they will stand modern motoring, stop / start / brake etc, myself I would go for as said, a golf / Fiesta / Peugeot 206, but if you are not Mechanical minded, take someone with you that knows.
