Silly question? We'll soon see.

Does anybody have experience of using Back To Black on grey plastics and if so what was the result? I just want to freshen up a wee Ka if it's straightforward.

Thanks.

Back to Black does a good job at restoring faded/scuffed BLACK plastic trim. It won't, however, make GREY plastic trim black (if that's what you meant). I think you can get special (aerosol) paints to change the colour from grey to black, if that's what you want to do.

Pretty much what I thought, gingejbee. Thanks for the info. :-)
If you're sure about changing the colour of the bumpers to black, you need to use "Satin finish" spraypaint - available in some homeware stores in the car section or maybe get it on e-bay.
Clean all the plastic trim first with white spirit. Carefully mask off everything else and apply using about 4 or 5 light coats so it doesn't run - you might need more if covering grey. I got good results but I was repainting black bumpers.
I used satin finish from Boyes stores - but I think they are only in the North of England. You could probably get it mail order - it does give quite a professional finish as long as you take your time and do the prep.
