Replacing Bushes On A Ford Focus
I have been given a quote of £360 to replace the bushes on the two front wheels of my vehicle , it is 9 years old , is this a reasonable quote please ? Thanks in advance

Either way £360 sounds expensive to me.
If I were you I would ask who ever it was that gave you that quote to be a bit more precise whith which bushes they mean.

I remember when I had mine on the Escort done as a result of an MOT failure the garage that did the MOT gave me quite a hefty quote so I went to a garage my BiL recomended,who gave me a quote around half,using genuine Ford parts( I was sat next to the guy when he phoned up for the prices).When I asked how he could quote so cheaply he replied a lot of garages liked to change the whole arms as it was quite quick, a full set of bushes cost about a tenner and took a bit longer to change.He could make a profit and the customer saved a few bob so everyybody was happy.
