Can anyone tell me how many miles would I save by using the M6 toll road?

The distance is probably negligable, what you will save is time - far less traffic on the toll section.

thanks andy hughes. Used it once last year and wondered if there was any saving on mileage.. Will probably travel overnight so time wise shouldnt be a problem, hopefully. Thanks again for that.
Depends how far you're going! I always said I wouldn't use it because I object to paying for road use when I already pay road tax, but I do use it because I discovered it saves SO-O-O-O much time and stress. I live very near to the start of the M6 Toll, near the NEC, and if I'm going north it gets me clear of the West Midland connurbation in a fraction of the time and with none of the hassle of negotiating the local traffic that clogs up the M6, not to mention the delights of Rea Hall, where the M5 and M6 meet.........
