If you've renewed your license since doing your weeks training, what does it say on that?

it says thenobvious car one plus the c1
The C1 just gave you the entitlement to drive a 7,5 tonne vehicle but that's not enough on its own if driving those vehicles is the main part of your job. Is there a difference in your role now and what you were carrying previously?
You should have taken modules 2 and 4 before passing your practical C1 driving test. If you have, you should have a blue Driver CPC card similar to a pink Driving Licence card. If you have not got the blue card, you CANNOT drive a C1 vehicle legally (there are exceptions, but these almost certainly will not apply to you). The max fine is £1000. If you haven't got the Driver CPC card, I suggest you ask your driving school why they did not put you through the modules. If you have got a current C1 driving licence and a current DriverCPC card, you can work for anyone you like in a vehicle covered by a C1 licence. Be aware that you must do 35 hours JAUPT approved training prior to your DriverCPC card expiring 5 years after its issue (which should be around Feb '19 assuming you have your DriverCPC card).
You have my sympathies...all this legislation does 'batter' your head!!!
Do yourself a favour Forever, get a job that's rewarding, the HGV job is the only job in the UK that you can get abused, get rolocked, get's you in a bad temper, interferes with your home life, & fined for working too hard.
I love it though
