This is a Tynemouth registration. Several buses on this website have similar registrations which may help you narrow down the date.

From grasscarp's link, FT 3904 started service in 1936 for Tynemouth and District Transport Co., then transferred in 1946 to Northern General Transport Company Ltd.

If the livery of the bus is visible, that will determine from which side of 1946 the photo originates but unfortunately no more specific than that.
I've heard of hooking up with a tree http://www.thepoke.co.uk/2015/03/23/just-case-couldnt-feel-lonely-tree-girlfriend/ but dating a photograph ? Will it show you a good time ?
Anyway age is just a number; follow your heart.
Morning Lynn. If you are going to date a photograph, you must not be over exposed on your first "date". (^_*)
