Car Parked Outside My House
There's been a car parked outside my house for over 10 days.
On my street, all the cars are parked so, but they come and go throughout the day, when people go to work and return. This car hasn't moved at all which is unusual.
Should I go and report it to the police station which is just down the road or just wait?

Then we can all go together, in your car, to the airport and share the cost of parking just one car, rather than two". (If, upon their arrival, there was no free space immediately outside the home of the relevant neighbour, they would have simply parked in the nearest free space - which just happened to be outside your house).
However it only takes a few moments for the Old Bill to find out who the registered owner is, and to phone them, (as in my example above) so it could still be worth mentioning it to them.

Popped into the Police Station late this afternoon and reported the car. The policeman said that a few cars had been reported around where I live, and they were all belonging to a chap who lives not far away and who deals in secondhand cars, as a sideline.
He can't park them where he lives in the town because there are parking restrictions. There aren't any on my street.
I checked the car out and it's tax runs out on June 1st and MOT on July 7th.
As was discussed, he said that there is not a lot he can do, but a "word" will be had.
