Varifying A 2014 Ford C-Max Mileage
I looked at a 2014 C-Max with 09532 miles on the clock .
The trader has not got the service book and because the car is under 3 years old has not yet had an MOT .I've done all the checks on the car and it is ok ,my only concern is that I need to check that the miles stated on the clock are correct.
Have Fords got a network that will be able to check if it had been serviced at fords and what the mileage at that service was.
Any help would be great.

Many new cars no longer have the service book that is stamped each time it is serviced - mine doesn't. The service is recorded on a database if the service is done by the manufacturer's dealership...not sure that this can happen if you go to a non-franchised garage.
However, you still get a printed service sheet itemisation and full receipt for each service and these should be available in your case.

sounds dodgy to me, all new cars have a service book, not related to MOT, so the fact it is missing rings alarm bells for me as does the fact that he's spun some BS about the MOT etc. Add the VIN anomoly and I'd say do not touch with a bargepole. It's a very common car, find a better one that you feel happier about.
