Can a disabled badge holder park on broken double lines outside my house

I believe the maximum time allowed would be 3 hours if showing Blue badge with time clock and no other restrictions are in place providing the person is not blocking a driveway or parked on a bus stop or in a loading only area.

A blue badge holder can park on double yellow lines for up to 3 hours so long as there are no 'no loading' marks on the kerb. I'm not sure what broken double yellow lines are - I'm assuming that they have the same status as double yellow lines.

I think that maybe the poster is referring to double white lines in centre of road. If this is the case I tink that you may only park to pick up or drop off.

Ah, if that is the case then double white lines in centre means it is a hazard and if that is what the poster is referring to then yes picking up and dropping off only.

Unfortunately a lot of disabled drivers do not read the instruction booklet that accompanies the badge and they think they are allowed to park anywhere, even on bus stops which is illegal, but try telling them and they state they can park because they have a blue badge.

We had 2 disabled drivers in town drive through the pedestrain only area and when stopped they said they had blue badge and they were allowed to do so. A case of not reading book that comes with badge furrypusscat.
