Or go to Halfords and the oil section type in your car and it will give you the different oils you can use
Interesting link - I'm intrigued that someone thinks you get higher oil pressure by putting more oil in. It takes all sorts.
...am also thinking that, if the recorded mileage is high, some of the oils mentioned may be a bit too thin.....
bhg481, that's the problem with this sort of website, people giving out not only incorrect info but potentially damaging as well.
Is 5W 30 wrong?
I only ask as it's one of two recommended by Castrol on their own website.

douglas, the grade of oil is OK, the problem is with the second answer from boylin who added this comment.
' 6.5 litres if driven gently, 7.5 litres if driven hard'
Putting an extra litre of oil into an engine could actually destroy it.
Yes, maybe, but that's nowt to do with the specific question asked.
It is if the person who asked the question also heeded the advice and put in too much.
I'm going to stop now.
That's probably for the best if you are going to post links with unsuitable advice.
So we all agree, as recommended - Castrol 5W-30 Edge is a good choice.
