Private Car Parks
How does a car park which is operated by a company make any money when parking is free for 90 minutes? Their notices indicate no charge for parking.
How does that company then justify a penalty charge of £85 for exceeding the 90 minutes?
They can have suffered no loss or damage.
Do you not think all this smacks of extremely sharp practise?

Usually the company that runs it has a range of charges that it can try and impose. Eg not parked in a marked bay, incorrect use of disabled or mother and child spaces etc and of course staying to long.
