Trouble starting from cold could be a glow plug issue.
Injector leaking will reduce fuel pressure and allow air into the injector, hence trouble starting.
Injectors can be bled one at a time but should not be necessary with a modern diesel. If there is a fuel leak bleeding the system will not solve your problem.
When the diesel pump was replaced was the timing chain replaced. The timing chain stretches and then puts the pump out of time with the motor. This means the motor gets a squirt of fuel at the wrong time.
