Mum had one that had a neutral gear, so that anyone with her could push it along, with her seated on it. I wouldn't fancy pushing one very far though.

I think they tend to be chargeable battery driven because that's easier for the people who need them.

I would also think that the Unit would be due a MOT Check TTT, are you thinking of converting one?
