By paying tax monthly is it actually based month by month? We wish to sorn our car in a couple of months so if we pay monthly for 2 months would we then be able to sorn it and just cancel direct debit?

gawd knows what planet eddie has been on, tax disc?? PMSL anyway you pay VED for 6 months or 12, the monthly payment is only a convenience. You can tax it for 12 months, pay 2 months and then sorn it. DVLA will then stop the DD, or you can.
