I've just had my free MOT at Halfords. Passed no problems.

I've got mine booked for Oct 31st - most irritating because my expiry date is 1st Dec, so 1 day later would retain my old renewal. Halford's have done my last 6 MoTs on this car with no failures - I'm not expecting any change there.

2 years ago the main dealer did the MOT and told me that the tyres would need replacing before the next MOT.
Took the car to Halfords for their free tyre check and told me the tyres were fine - same with the free brake check they offered earlier this year.

Our MOT’s are carried out in big centre’s by government employees so no surprise we miss out on this
