What is "normal" temp for Micra

I have just bought a 1993 Micra with 26000 on the clock....YES 26000!! After a 15 min run the temp gauge was up to half way.............is this the "normal" running temp??

Do you mean half way to hot or halfway to normal?

I have a Micra and the temp gauge is always in the middle - it's normal.

When I said half way I meant half way between the bottom and the top of the scale.
My previous cars temp gauge was always near the start point so I just wondered...however it seems I dont have a problem....Many many thanks for taking the time and trouble to reply.
