For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Hi Dave, usually this is a fault in the SRS system, which basically means the air bags and/or crash sensors and if fitted the seat belt pre-tensioners.
This is often due to a poor/loose cable connection soemwhere on the system and maybe you can check things like cables to the crash sensors etc..... but be very carefull about touching anything on the SRS system, you can get a air bag deployment if you do something wrong.
You might think it a good idea to disconnect the battery to avoid any problems while touching the SRS system. * WARNING * many air bag activators have their own power storage which can remain charged for some minutes after the battery is disconnected.
