Dash Cams
Am I wrong in thinking that a dashcam should record your driving continuously on a loop system overwriting previous recordings until an incident requires you to view the latest journey’s recording?

According to Apeman’s site your webcam does, or do you mean it should be one long recording, as far as I am aware they are always in ‘chunks’. Yours also has the option to turn off loop recording so possibly you have activated that http:// www.ape mans.co m/suppo rt/down load/AP EMAN%20 Dash%20 Camera% 20C570. pdf.Eqd wjVcsKl QJMvkBQ Gk9swav uIDSj1E E
Mine still stops recording when the disk is full and only works when I delete the current data. It is set to loop and it makes no difference whether the G sensor is on or off. It records in 5 minute sections but it does not record all the time. If I need a recording it’ll be pot luck. Whether the recording will be there or not. I’ve had the dash cam replaced once and it’s still not doing what the loop is intended to do.
